Our Services

We specialize in three key areas, creating personalized therapy experiences that help children flourish and families feel supported throughout their journey.

Speech-Sound Disorders

Articulation Therapy

Speech-Sound Disorders involve sounds that are produced incorrectly, making it difficult for listeners to understand what is being said. These disorders can significantly impact a child's ability to communicate effectively.

Sound distortions and substitutions
Lisp correction
Sound omissions
Phonological pattern disorders

What We Address

We work with children who have difficulty producing specific sounds correctly. This includes phonological disorders where speech patterns vary in place, manner, and voicing.

For example, when a child substitutes sounds produced in the back of the mouth (like /k/) with sounds from the middle or front of the mouth.

Two Main Categories

Expressive Disorders

When individuals struggle to explain or communicate their thoughts and feelings, affecting oral and/or written expression.

Receptive Disorders

When individuals have difficulty understanding messages communicated to them, especially new or unfamiliar vocabulary.

Language Disorders

Language disorders affect how children understand and use language to communicate. These disorders can significantly impact learning in reading, writing, and spelling.
